CLOVE OIL
Clove plant is a native to the Southeast Asia region. Clove essential oil is extracted from Eugenia caryophyllata. The oils are produced from the distillation of clove’s leaf, bud and stem. Indonesia has been the dominant producer of clove oil in the world for decades. Clove is also known to be the primary ingredients in the cigarette industry. Sulawesi (30%) and Java (70%) island has been the major contributor of clove oil in Indonesia.
