CITRONELLA JAVA OIL

Citronella is an aromatic, perennial grass that is cultivated primarily in tropical Asia; Indonesia (being the main producer), Burma, India and Sri Lanka. In addition to its mosquito-repelling properties, they are used for culinary purposes, used in wide range of local dishes. Citronella are commonly found all over the island of Java. Java (grown) Citronella are known to be superior for perfumery uses due to its fresh, sweet and lemony aroma. Citronella is commonly mistaken for Lemongrass, as they share a similar appearance, growth, and processing method.
